At Seven Hawks, our vineyards are planted with almost 17,000 northern hybrid grape vines, making us one of the largest vineyards in the Upper Midwest. All of our grapes are hand-pruned, hand-tended, and hand-harvested, and all of our wines are estate-grown and estate-bottled. These award-winning wines will be waiting for you to taste when you visit our our tasting room, where tastings of our wines are always free of charge.

For a Wisconsin winery, this is a nice place. You can have some fun and learn a little about winemaking. But the wines are really mediocre at best (actually terrible). If you don’t expect this to be a Napa Valley experience, you can have a good time.

Von Klaus Winery is the home of 20 handcrafted wines, made with modern technology and old world tradition. We have been making wines using original recipes with all natural ingredients and no preservatives or added sulfites since 1999. Located in Baraboo’s historic downtown square, our tasting room offers guests a year-round invitation to sample wines, try some delicious appetizers, or make a reservation for a 4-course wine and food pairing, complete with a lovely view of Baraboo’s historic downtown square.

Scott and Renate Hauser started Bayfield Winery in 1995 producing Bayfield apple and fruit wines at Hauser’s Superior View Farm. Now located on their own farm just down the road, where they grow the majority of the fruit that goes into their wines. The location may have changed, but the apples remain the same.

Door Peninsula Winery is a great winery experience. A must stop while in Door County. They have a large selection of wines, we always buy some of their Sweet Cherry wine to take back home to friends. They also have a large assortment of sauces, dips, cherry products, mustards, and cheese available to sample.

Our winery story began as many great stories do – over a glass of wine and conversation. Meet the Nordlof’s: John brings the logic – he laid out the manufacturing areas and keeps the accounting. Gail brings the creative – makes the wine and the marketing materials. Son Bruce cooks, helps make wine and fixes everything.  Daughter Jaimie hosts the tasting room, runs the staff, and paints amazing wineglasses. With our diverse skill set, passion and hard work, plus some great staff – including grandchildren and some who might as well be family  – that’s how Northleaf Winery was born.

Whistler’s bloodies are totally handcrafted & made from scratch. There is NOTHING out there that tastes so fresh. He starts with a tomato base & adds about a dozen secret ingredients including cilantro. All of the ingredients meld & infuse for a few d& then he strains the veggies off the juice for an amazing fresh taste.  SPECIAL TREAT! Half Moon Hill Farm & Winery is open from May through October on Fridays and Saturdays from 1pm-7pm. We are a family-friendly farm and invite you and your family & friends to stay and have a picnic (we offer a small selection of gourmet cheese & crackers but feel free to bring your own food!). We specialize in farmhouse style ciders and meads that are authentic, not back-sweetened, and made with raw, pure, local ingredients.

The white pine that’s featured on our label has been on the property about twice as long as our family. The vineyard site was homesteaded in the 1850’s, and the Elmaro tree is estimated at being 300 years old. The lone white pine towers over the surroundings as a symbol of stability and determination. It’s also a representation of our family. We are a family that is fortunate enough to work together and produce something great. Come visit our vineyard and be our guest as you enjoy great wines with friends or family.

It all started in 2000, that’s when the first bottle of wine created and sold. We were a family owned and operated business then and still are today. Trout Springs Winery, which is owned by husband-and-wife Steve and Andrea DeBaker, is actually a division of Branch River Farms–Wisconsin’s only licensed fish hatchery, plant nursery, and winery all under one roof! Unique all right. Just like the man behind the scenes.
