Gallery

As a family run business with deep respect and love for the Texas Hill Country, we enjoy giving back to our community. Salt Lick Cellars provides support to the Hill Country Conservancy, The Longhorn Foundation, and Friends of the Children – Austin. We give preference to charities that support land conservation and youth in Travis and Hays counties. As a general rule, we do not make charitable donations of any kind to fundraisers or individuals.

Nestled within the scenic Thousand Springs located in the Hagerman Valley, Thousand Springs Winery hosts spectacular waterfalls and canyon views on the banks of the Snake River. Our brand name of Feathered Winds Wine depicts the Hagerman Valley’s vast population of birds and the breezy nature of living at the bottom of a canyon. Our well provides pristine spring water to irrigate all the grapes. Combined with mineral rich volcanic soil and river silt, sunny days and optimal night cooling effect of the river, our unique terroir at the tip of the Snake River AVA provides a perfect microclimate for growing grapes in Idaho.
