Rapazzini Winery was opened in 1962 by Jon Rapazzini at the intersection of Highways 101 and 25 just south of Gilroy California. Winemaking is under the direction of Chef and owner Alex Larson who is 1982 graduate of the California Culinary Academy. His previous ristorante and bar, Sandrino’s had a 3 1/2 star rating from the San Jose Mercury News and held the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
